Registered members of DESSA must be members of SEMDSA and are bound by the rules governing SEMDSA membership.
Honorary members: At the discretion of the NEC, persons may be awarded honorary membership for their contribution to Diabetes or to DESSA.
Election of Members:
Candidates for membership shall be proposed and seconded by
members from personal knowledge. Application shall be sent to the
.
Election to membership shall be by the NEC, which shall take into
account any indication of opinion submitted by members.
The name of every candidate elected by the NEC to membership of
DESSA shall be made known to SEMDSA.
DESSA Membership Fee:
R30.00 per annum.
